Can the Borg adapt to all things?

We know they can adapt to phase weapons (Phasers, lasers, etc). But can they adapt to more conventional weapons like swords or bullets? We see example in First Contact when Worf slices one up with his blade and Picard going nuts on them with a Tommy Gun.

Anyone?

Not really. They can adapt by adding body armor to their drones or something, but you can't just 'adapt' to a bullet.

So, why don't they stock up on tommy guns for borg encounters?

Hehe, that seen in first contact was classic. Picard went *beep* nuts.

in Unimatrix Zero from Voyager, the borg adapted to phasors but they didnt adapt to being hit in the face by a gun, so solid objects can go through, just not energy weapons, so yes, bullets would be more effective against the borg

I'd Use the Jem'Hadar (Dominion) Weapons that were like Axes but when they hit the enemy they let off an electrical current into the foes body paralysing it

They'll adapt to anything eventually. It's just a matter of time for the harder stuff.

They can still adapt. In fact, they have. Granted with Voyager's help, but they have.

I don't think the borg could ever adapt or assimalate species 8472, only destroy them.
