Well,
I liked Star wars at first but the second movie was kinda of boring....................... I went to see it 2 times once with my Dad and once with my friend.....she didn't like it anyway but usually......she is not the fan of SCI-Fi anyway. Me and her walked out half way through the movie....... in a way I wanted to leave but in a way I didn't want to.

^Clarify----by "second movie", do you mean Attack of the Clones, or The Empire Strikes Back?

I'd like to point out that the New Jedi Order series is better than the prequel movies.

Hey Man, thats your opinion doesn't mean I'll think so I like Star Wars when Jedi were more common like the early days rather than all that new breed of Jedi stuff

^Have you read them? The first few are just so-so, but nothing in the prequels compares to the epic battles in Star by Star, or the startling revelations in Traitor.

And the Jedi are fairly common in the NJO era. Over the course of the previous novels, we specifically saw maybe thirty Jedi trained, but by the time of the NJO there are somewhere around one hundred of them at the Jedi base at any given time; probably more out on various worlds.

There are two things which people typically object to in the NJO novels----their willingness to kill main characters when it serves the plot, and a general ambivalence about the new enemy, the Yuuzhan Vong. I myself held off on reading them for a very long time once I learned one of the plot points of Vector Prime....but in the end, I gave in, and I'm glad I did. The Vong were only somewhat interesting for the first few books, but the Edge of Victory duology really flushed them out and made them a fascinating enemy.

I have yet to encounter someone who's read most of what's out and not liked it. Most people who don't like it either haven't read it, or stopped in the first book due to the aforementioned plot point, without really giving that story twist a chance. So, while it is just my opinion, as you say, its an opinion shared by many.

I'd be lying if I had said I have read them, I might read them if I get hold of copies but I still think they'd have to be damned good books to hype the Impression that the Film "Attack of the clones" had on me, but I guess they already sound kinda promising seeing as the Gungans and therefore Jar Jar Binks are not mentioned in the Newer Age

I've been thinking about getting some of the NJO books for a while now. Can you recommend one? Do you have to read them all to know the plotlines, etc. I have read many of the other "Extended Universe" but this was a while ago...I bought most of the books up to the time when "Starfighters of Adumar" came out...a long time ago me thinks
