Suppose TOS was being made today (instead of ENT). What actors do you think would/should be chosen for The Big Three (i.e. Kirk, Spock and McCoy)?
Should:
Kirk - Denzel Washington
Spock - Laurence Fishburne
McCoy - Morgan Freeman
Would:
Kirk - Scott Bakula
Spock - Jamie Lee Curtis
McCoy - Matthew Perry

A black guy could work for Kirk and even Spock, but I see Bones as a white guy no matter what.
My picks:
Kirk - Avery Brooks
Spock - Sam Waterson
McCoy - Ed O'Neil
Boy that all looks stupid now that I've read it all. Bottom line, the original three did it as good as it could be done, lets move on and make a new Trek history with more great characters and actors. (Sisko, Worf, Data, ...etc.)
