This is next weeks one.
Synopsis:
While Enterprise visits a planet where an Interspecies Medical Exchange conference is taking place, Dr. Phlox tries to obtain research on a terminal disease from the Vulcan contingency there. But he must not reveal that T'Pol has contracted this disease, because that knowledge would forever stigmatize her among her people.

Excellent episode. I hope this arc with the Vulcans and melders continues over the seasons. The story was powerful and interesting, having the one doctor be a melder was a interesting plot twist. The sub story with Trip and Phlox's wife was interesting.
This is hopefully a new day for the show, lets see if they can go on a role with some good eps. I don't care about ratings, only about the quality of the shows. This one was a lot better than most of season 2 has been thus far.

While some will certainly say that this contradicts what we've seen of Vulcans so far, I have to preemptively disagree. It contradicts what we *thought* we knew about Vulcans......but nothing we were actually told. In order for this to fit with the established timeline, only four facts are needed:
-Melding ability is passed to offspring.
-Sokar (father of Sarek) is a Melder.
-Tuvok's and Vorik's fathers are Melders.
-There are certain times when a Melder is accepted by society----say, in the healing or priestly professions. These special melders would be the ones to initiate Mating Bonds and that sort of stuff.
That said, the episode *was* better than most, but the ending was a tad predictable.

finally a decent episode of enterprise, I liked what I saw, but the ending was disappointing, it would have been more interesting to see T'Pol getting taken back to Vulcan.

I can see how, in ways, that the cultural exchange with Earth was a little more than a person here and a Vulcan there. Like any changing culture, individuality forces change and when we see TOS, the change that began in ENT had already taken place. Maybe mind melding wasn't as taboo as it is apparently in ENT.

and when you say photon torpedo banks, I of course assume you mean eyes. What's with her eyes anyway? They're always starry and unpleasantly wet. She looks like she's going to cry all the time. Stupid Vulcans

Because she wants her one love Los but because he disappeared in an ion storm five years ago, she has to settle with Archer.
I wonder if the cast of Enterprise reads this stuff.

I think she's crying over her haircut, which seems to be specific to all people of her race, of both genders, for several hundred years. I'd be crying too

So in other words, what is the point of hiring a sex object to play your sex object character if she's going to look like a boy?
Yeah, what is up with that?

Yeah, if you don't look at anything above her neck. But then for all you know, it could just be a guy with a gland problem. Gross!
