Today is the 10th aniversay of DS9. Wow, for it's age it still looks pretty young. I wish i could rewatch some episodes as a present but ah well.

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

Hey cool excuse for having a ds9 marathon Lol, nah seriously though I remember when it first came to Cable tv in the UK, the adverts were cool but when it came on, it was kinda disappointing, It later developed into the series I know and love after the season 2 finale "The Jem'Hadar"

Yah, the first seasons where really bad but once they adapted the each episode revolves around a bigger plot it got really good. 10 years and it still looks brand new to me.

Heh....Pocket Books is celebrating the 10th aniversary with some new DS9 titles. In particular, "Rising Son" and a DS9 anthology book.

Over the years I sincerely hope the Trek community begins to recognize, as many always knew, that DS9 was one of the finest shows ever. Certainly the best Trek in my book.

Agreed. With all the attention VOY and ENT get, we have to remember that VOY made ENT possible, and ENT killed Trek.

^Don't pronounce it dead before it flatlines. There's still good Trek being made. I've been enjoying the stuff at www.hiddenfrontier.org a great deal; and of course, there's always the DS9 Relaunch. We'll soon see how the Voyager Relaunch turns out.

Let's face it, it isn't really Trek unless it makes the screen. It may be better than the Trek currently hitting the screen, but as soon as Captain Archer steps gracefully off his high horse and into the ravine, it's over. All of it.

^I can see it now. Admiral Janeway must chose: Coffee, black, before the meeting at Starfleet to decide what to plant on Sherman's Planet this year! Can't wait for the exciting VGR relaunch!
