I was just wondering how do sonic showers work exactly? I figured maybe someone could enlighten me on the process.

yeah they're not really anything like showers today except for the fact that they clean you and are called showers. The water like wraps around you or sumthin like that and I wuz just wondering if anyone could explain it better to me.

i think it is high powered sonic waves that are emmited and "sonically" knock dirt and other foul materials off the body.

Correct TransWarp! The ISS's showers use pulses of water, and the user has a suction-tube to gather the water, as a lot of it will float around freely... which is not acceptable. Sonic showers are actually being developed for the space program, but are encountering---difficulties.

Alright I have a good theory on this peeps. Now I think the constant sonic bombardment loosens the "dirt" cellular structure. Also the sonic blasts push away the broken up "dirt". This is my theory! what do you think?

the dictionary defines so as: of or relation to or using sound or sound waves.
so im assuming the sound waves from something cleanse your body. sounds waves so inaudiable that you can be bathed in them and be clean
