The story from Nemesis was suitable, although at times I did get the feeling I was watching a James Bond movie. I do not know, maybe it was the one ship, one captain idea. There was not enough involvement with other races either.

The movie reminded me of Insurrection and Generations too much. They could have done something special for the last ever movie. I think they were more interested in ratings than intelligent quality.

The acting was good, but the science was lacking in coherence. Some of the devices were a bit too much. There was not enough emotional reaction for datas death either.

The film lacked the aura that was seen in the First Contact and Insurrection movies. Also there were no moving scenes. I sometimes experience shivers and fast heart rate, due to something overwhelming that my brain cannot handle. This is known as being moved. There were ample scenes that would cause this experience in Generations (mainly the end scene with the Nebula class ship), but not in this Nemesis movie.

This movie gets 4 out of 5. The loss of 1 point is due to the lack of general aura.

although I liked the film overall the only things I was disappointed with was that they never showed the uss titan and I wish they would have lured shinzon into the federation fleet now that would have been amazing.

For some reason I'd bet that the Titan is a Galaxy class ship. Don't know shy, but it sounds like it would be.

I saw this movie the day it came out. IMO it seemed like a Next Generation episode. It just didn't have that movie feel. But I liked it overall. Especially the part -- well, I don't want to spoil it in case someone hasn't seen it yet. But I'm just going to say there's a REALLY exciting part and I was on the edge of my seat!

I give it three thumbs up!

Hey syd: are you a Quaker? he he "Moment of Silence." "Let's all reflect on the inner flame that Data helped to rekindle in everyone..." he he seriously though, I was so sad that Riker coudln't remember that it was "Pop Goes the Weasel" that Data was trying to whistle! For some reason that made me cry. I know he wouldn't forget about him so easily, but that's how it felt. That was really sad. I wish they'd done more with it though: it looks like they had a really good, long scene and then cut most of it. Poor Data!!

It's the name, gives the impression of something very large. Galaxy-class or Akira-class would do.

I thought that if they ahd to kill him, then it was a good way for him to go, but then they added all the "Oh well he's not really dead" crap wth B-4 and it kind of ruined it. I know that they wanted to give ppl hope that we could ahve Data back, but I don't think thta was the right thing to do.

Oh also: I have nothing against Quakerism: didn't mean to make it sound that way. I actually rather like Quaker Meetings for Worship: they can be very comforting.
