I'm thinking about merging my Voyager and DS9 fics together so they tell 2 different stories (one on Voyager, another on DS9) that are going on at the same time, just in different places. I'm also thinking about making it a to be continued thing, and having it be the first of several stories in a story arch. Is this a good idea? Or should it be time travel, where the Voyager crew and DS9 crew (from different points in time) get sent back to the TNG era onboard the Enterprise.

I think you should try whatever you feel like doing... then you'll see if it works and is good.
