No Please No! I can imagine the academy series now, several bullies who bully the little cadet who wants to be the top class cadet, How Cheesy can you get?

^You can even have one of those 'sit com' moments.

Seriously though, i want to see a crewman daniels time kind of show. Temporal cold war would make an awsome theme to the show.

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

LOL, I think I had heard rumors about an idea like this too. But, like Oompsty said, it would be kind of restricting. I don't think it would leave much room for battles in space either, unless the cadets were training or something.

Well, it's also like this, it's in the heart of the federation, you aren't going to get much action there.

That's true. We'd probably get stuck watching all kinds of diplomatic meetings if the show ventured out of the Academy at all.

That would definitely be cool. They could do virtually anything with a theme like that.

The morons at UPN should have given me a TV Show, and I would have made an awesome comedy about the dumbass Jonathan Archer/Scott Bakula.

a series in the late 23 century or early 24 century. either simular to TOS and TNG in plot, or something based on the federation itself, a bit like ds9 but centralised on earth, starfleet headquarters not on a station. and after picards time.
