Sat Jan 04, 2003 3:32 pm Fan Fiction- Sticking, Removing and Issues (Updated) |
|
Arg... I seemed to have neglected this forum a bit. Since this is now a quiet forum, I'm changing things a little.
You can still have your story stickied, but unless it's finished within 6 months (or you're updating it within 6 months) it will be unstickied. Popular stories can be stickied at any time (those that are still getting many replies).
You may have a story locked, but if you want it unlocked again, you better have a good reason! There's nothing wrong with leaving a story to fall down the list.
There's a lot of poetry on here now That's a good thing. Poetry come under the same rules- basically if it's not posted in within 6 months and it's a sticky, then it gets unstickied. If you are going to post a lot of poetry, could you please make one topic for several of them? It will make them easier to find, and if you want them stickied you won't have to pick
The other rules are basically the forum rules. Nothing over PG-13, and also, try and make it readable. No text speak (unless the poem is about it) as it makes things difficult to understand, and this is a forum, not a chatroom!
If you have any problems, or you notice spam or anything not allowed in here, pm me. DO NOT REPLY TO SPAMMERS OR BAD POSTS! This is in the forum rules, and will result in a warning.
If you do want anything done, or have a question, pm me (or post here)
Thanks,
Seven of Nine

What about fanfics where we ask people to add on their own sections of the story? I thought ppl might like to do so so I started an "Add on" fic, but no one has responded and I'm feeling a bit discouraged. Could that be stickied as well? I had hoped that it would be a great wya to encourage writers to come out of their shells and contribute a little bit of a story without having to deal with the whole thing, but apparently no on has responded. I'm very sad . Well not that sad. Just wanted to see what your thoughts were.

It's a great idea, and I would have contributed if I'd known abything about the characters and stuff.
