i loved it, did you know that Hobbiton was made a year b4 they started filming so that the plants and grass could all grow in to make it look like it was really old!

4 hours. Wow, lucky I watched it in parts. It did say which scenes were extended inside it somewhere but I wasn't going to keep looking at that, and I wouldn't know where they were extended from anyway.

It was a great movie with much of cool effects and greaters like the Orcs and the balrog.He ends stupid buth(I say it again)its a good movie.

I got the extended version last Monday ...... quality film. I enjoyed it even more than when I went to the cinema last year. Haven't had the chance to watch disks 3 or 4 yet.

I've seen it so many times that I have and it's kinda sad but I am able to word for word each of the actors lines without fault from the very begining...previews and all to the end...when frodo and sam start to walk deeper into the Emun Muil. And even most of the credits songs.
