i think that a new voyager movie would be great
they could have a huge Borg invasion and the entire federation is engaged in battle and janeway and picard are both admirals now, who get given a field comission of captain so that they can take charge of the old ships, and janeway ends up using the self destruct sequence simulataneously with the rest of the fleet and it wipes out the borg, it could be called "A Last Hope" (copyright)

wtf.
"The lost hope" sounds better as the Federation is engaged in a no win war against another enemy from deep within the Gamma Quadrant. The USS Enterprise is sent into the heart of the enemy, with its Romulan/Starfleet based cloak, and destroy the core of their strength.
Sounds too... barbaric.
Needs more plot.

^Always with the wars eh? I want to see a movie based more on a scientific purpose then it develops into a war. Like the fight over the omega particle in Startrek Armada.

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

I have a few ideas for the next movie that have been in my head for the past week with the main theme of a crossover movie between the TNG characters and some from both DS9 and VOY. I'd also like to see some new characters introduced as getting to know new charcaters is an enjoyable part of the overall movie experience. I'd like to see the film a bit longer than usual so there can be an even better storyline. As for the story itself I don't have any specific ideas, but a fleet battle involved somewhere would be very cool.

they need to have some sort of movies... If they make a voyager one so many people would come and see it. And they do need to continue with what happens on DS9.... ahh maybe they should just combine them all... but then it would get really confussiing... hum..

really I think there could be a federation Civil war.A faction doesn't like the fact that we could be at peace with the Romulans and begiens the civil war.

Sat Mar 01, 2003 2:53 am Idea for a new movie |
|
Hi folks. I stumbled on this forum a couple of days ago and I'm very interested in the movie discussion. One idea I get the feeling that will be the future of the movies is that a new Enterprise-E crew will be selected from the Voyager, DS9, and TNG crews. Although I'd love to see a movie pick up on Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant, I doubt it will happen. The Enterprise seems to be more of a marketable tool by Paramount. Not everybody knows Voyager like the hardcore fans. So here's a blind stab of what the new Enterprise could be:
Captain: Cpt. Will Rikker (TNG)
First Officer: Com. Worf (TNG, DS9)
Tatical Officer: Lt. Com. Tuvok (VOY)
Operations Officer: Lt. Kim (VOY)
Pilot Helm: Lt. Nog (DS9)
Engineering Officer: Lt. Com. LaForge (TNG)
Counselor: Neelix (VOY)
Chief Science Officer: Seven of Nine (VOY)
Chief Medical Officer: EMH (VOY)
I'd have the story start with the retirement party of Picard and Crusher who plan to leave for France, attended by those who served on the Enterprise, and also a contigent of the Voyager crew (Janeway, Paris, Torres) also come to see Picard. Chakotay would be repremanded by Starfleet for his inlovlement with the Marquis, but would get a soft teaching job through Janeway at Starfleet. So he would be written out (as he was unpopular among many fans). Also the occasion would double as Riker's installation as captain of the Enterprise, and the new crew. So I'd say Riker ventures off to look at annomolies in the far reaches of the quadrant, and he runs into another Borg problem, even bigger and badder this time. They would need reenforcements quick, but the only ships available at Starfleet on short notice would be the either the Enterprise-A or Voyager which its telemetry from the Delta Quadrant was still being downloaded at the time. Say a new Nebula class is being built at the shipyards, but it wouldn't be ready in time. The descision is made to take the Enterprise-A so not to destroy the valuable telemetry off Voyager. So Janeway grabs whoever she can on short notice (Paris, Torres, Sisko, O'Brien, Chakotay, Troi, etc.) jumps on the Enterprise-A just like Kirk did a century ago and goes out to rescue the Enterprise-E. You could almost hear Torres screaming at the ancient warp drive, but Paris loving it since he loves antiques! The dimunitive Enterprise-A fights off the Borg in its first time ever just long enough to keep the Borg at Bay. Seven of Nine develops a new weapson to but aboard both ships to neutralize the borg, and everybody goes back to base.
Okay, just a big fantasy of mine, but hey you can't blame meI'd love to see the crews intergrated and help each other out in the end, and also see a venerable Constitution class roll again! :-)

Neelix is in the Delta Quadrent, and Riker has a ship of his own already.

The nemisis movie wasn't as good as I thought..Plus they make the romulans too strong. A perfect cloack..and being able to fire while under cloack. It's just not right for the romulans to be that powerful.

the cloak may have had no flaws, but it still has to vent plasma or the ship would flood with it and kill the crew
