My dad and I were just talking about the cancellation of Firefly, and he said he thinks he's heard that they're thinking of cancelling Enterprise. Is this true? I hope not! You can't cancel Star Trek, that's just like...wrong.

I've heard some rumblings, but they aren't seriously considering it *just* yet.
Most folks seem to think it won't get past season 3 at the rate the ratings are dropping, though.

I hope they don't cancel it...it might not be very good now but I think it has potential. I had heard another rumour that the next trek film would be one based on Enterprise...if that is true (and I have no idea as to whether it has a shred of truth in it) then I doubt that they would cancel it...I hope they dont cancel it

Sometimes after a series is cancelled they make a movie of the series, like futurama it's being made into a film around 2005-6

There is gonna be a film of Futurama? cool lol...I have only ever seen one episode of it and then the series finished and I havn't seen iton TV nemore...

it can't be cancelled...the will continue the series 7 year tradition...what were the tv ratings for voyager when it started...I'm sure it will do fine

I'm not trying to jinx it or anything, but I didn't think it'd last this long. I love the show a lot, don't get me wrong, but there was so little enthusiasm.....
I'm crossing my fingers for a couple more seasons!

hahaha!!! I like your signature! "Coffee......... I beat the Borg with it!" hahaha Anywhoo, back to the topic. Yeah... It didn't really go out with a "bang". It just went out. People just didn't care as much as Voyager. Voyager ended and everyone was like, "WOW" and, "What do we do now?!?" So yeah. Lets hope it gets more ratings and hangs on for just a little longer.

Nope, its not cancelled. I read/heard on TV that they're back in the studio making more eps. Hopefully, they'll start to really kick ass.
BTW, you think the 3 season slump and then rating increase has something to do with the TOS 3 year slam dunk?

Yeah, UPN has said that Enterprise will return for a third year. However, the wording made it seem that its far from certain how much longer it can continue with these ratings.
