I saw the movie on the opening day. Without spoiling it, I'll just say this: I found the so-called "villain" not as intimidating as he looked in the previews. But I still think it was pretty good. It kinda reminded me of ST II TWOK.

I'm ashamed of you folks. I"m absolutely sure that there will be a Voyager movie. I think something along the lines maybe A Voyager/TNG together movie? That would be cool to unite Picard and Janeway, just like Picard and Kirk.

And I am absolutely sure that Voyager will NEVER get a feature film. I hate to re-hash these main reasons why, but here we go again.

A) Voyager got home. Get the net. It's over. Janeway is an Admiral.

B) If Paramount sees that they can't get anyone to come out and see a much more popular and identifiable cast in the TNG cast, they won't turn the ball over to a cast that has no fanfare and no widespread popularity in the Voyager cast. I love DS9, but they suffer from the same fate. Making feature films is entirely different from making a TV show. Paramount is not going to put the Voyager nobodies on the big screen so the 50 people who worship Voyager on this site will go and see it 10 times while the rest of the world goes to see Episode III. The best bet for Star Trek 11 is some form of the TNG cast, both Picard and Riker have ships and crews still.

Voyager is OVER. When the season DVD's come out in 04' go get them and be happy they bothered to do them at all.

If this is the last TNG movie, than next should be ds9.

Since most of the talk here has strayed from talk about the actual new movie to future movies, I'm going to lock this post and direct y'all to the above stickied "Future Star Trek Movies." Thanks!
