This is the ship talk lounge. This should satisfy my obsession with ships as well, and maybe some never ending debates with Oompsty

Ack, i want to rant about the ugliness of the Norway and Saber, especially on SFC III. So when does the federation plan on upgrading all there ships to carry quantam instead of photon?

Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

Heh, by then federation scientists will have probably found an even better way to increase the yield of the torpedo. What i can't wait for is to see the Premonition class...

Hope you two dont mind me butting into the conversation....

Do any other ships besides the soverign class have quantum torpedos?
it seems like the only other torpedo variant that is widely used is the pulse fire style....and even that is still not as common as the plain old torpedo...

Speaking of prometheus, i think they should make it 2 sections instead of 3 like the Galaxy. With three sections if 1 is destroyed then the other 2 can't rejoin.

very true....

So the defiant only had quantum torpedos for a little while? Like how long? b/c i dont think I have ever seen the ep where the defiant is testing them out. I just thought it always had those nifty pulse fire torpedos.

Was that the Prometheus in Endgame or was it another Prometheus Class? It's right at the end in the fleet that attacks the sphere.
