no, it's just that it's annoying when people always say 'i want a voyager movie!'. but we all know that it will not happen and paramount would simply loose money if they did make a movie. at least i can live with the fact that voyager has made it home and it is finished. 'if' they do make a voyager movie it will not be anything to do with the show we have seen, and you cant make a movie like the TNG ones, voyager does not save the federation, the whole fleet does, leave that up to picard, and he is the flagship captain. there are much more possibilities with TNG. and for the record voyager was a great series, i loved it because of the possibilities in the show, but there home now. i mean what are you going to base a movie on, getting lost in the gamma quadrant? hmm, well no. |
That's why, shrek man

I could see a movie with Voyager in it (like in a battle scene or something), but not a movie about Voyager

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

I agree with ben That voyager had no-real importance before being thrust into the delta-quadrant and i doubt there will be a voy or ds9 movie for that matter and of all people that really pisses me off but I'll have to live with it

The closest i could see Voyager in a movie is an Intrepid class in a fleet, Hello people? VOYAGER WAS DECOMISSIONED WHEN THEY GOT HOME...

I would like to see a movie or a series where Seven Of Nine is in command of a station or star ship or something. It would be good to see a storyline where Seven embraces her individuality and human instincts.
I would love to see her wearing the StarFleet uniform. That would be real sexy.

I'm looking forward to Nemesis when it comes out on January 2nd (UK). I'll probably go and see it on the first day but I don't want to know a lot about it yet as I don't like running the storyline too much. I saw the trailer though. The new ship designs are pure class!
I doubt there would be a DS9 movie as the books have continued on the story in so much depth, meaning that anyone who hasn't read them would be confused (unless they had a 5 minute recap of the books).
The idea of a Voyager movie is far more realistic. They could easily continue on the story from 'Endgame'. I would be happy to see a Voyager movie.

Okay, this is getting annoying.
DOES ANYONE REALIZE THAT NONE OF THE DS9 RELAUNCH BOOKS ARE CANON??????????????????????????????
No Trek novel is canon unless it is made into a episode or film.
Kirk is alive in one book series.
The Enterprise A is destoryed in a Shatner book.
Kirk discovered section 31 in "Cloak"
None of it matters. If they wanted to make a DS9 or Voyager film, none of the post series books would change the plot or anything.
Please, someone grasp the idea of "canon" information. I'm begging you.

A VOYAGER MOVIE WOULD PROBALLY BE MY FAVORITE MOVIE, BUT I DO KNOW THAT THERE'S A NEW STAR TREK MOVIE WITH CAPTAIN CATHRIN JANEWAY IN IT. IT COMES OUT DECEMBER 13(2002).
