Sort of. Basically they're "fallen" prophets.

I can tell you what a Pah-wraith is its a prophet banished from the celestial temple and into the bajoran fire caves the Pah-wraith leader kosst amojan sometimes known as koss moran is always scheming to get back into the wormhole first by obducting keiko obrien then by the reckoning battle and finally by seducing dukat and kai winn. Man what kind of name is "Pah-Wraith" which idiot thought up that?
(see the assignment ds9 5th season,the reckoning ds9 sixth season,tears of the prophets ds9 6th season finally and then see entire 7th season for refference to the pah-wraith)

It is in reference to the Bajoran equivalent of a soul, their "Pagh" (silent g).
