Over $100? The Babylon 5 Season 1 DVD box set had a standard price of $85 US, and I got it for only $55. I heard Amazon.ca was selling it for $46! Why is DS9 so much more expensive?

For that matter, I'm pretty sure the "24" season 1 DVD box set was under $40!

The TNG DVD's started at $139.00 at Best Buy when they started coming out. Now they go for between $99 and $109 at most stores. Information I've read said for DS9 fans to expect "similar" pricing to that of the TNG box sets. But no official release price yet, though.

Please make note that this is only the season 1 DVDs at present. While the season does have some really good episodes, even hardcore Niners will tell you that season 1 is far from the best of the show.

^Agreed, Lindley. And there are only 20 eps in season one, 6 less than the rest of the seasons. I found "Past Prologue" to be my favorite season 1 ep.

That is something i definitely agree with I also think much the same of season 2 with the exception of the Episodes the Maquis parts 1-2,Blood oath and the Season Finale The Jem'hadar which introduces the Dominion asdie from the crappy Karrema episodes

I plan buying the DS9 DVD's. I have only seen 4 episodes of DS9 & I am psyched about seeing all the episodes.

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.
