Aside from the gate, Stargate: Infinity has virtually nothing to do with Stargate SG-1. It just uses the name, but otherwise its unrelated. What's more, the producers of SG-1 say Infinity isn't canon.

Now, in a year or two there's going to be a Stargate: Atlantis spinoff which will be canon.

Stargate SG-1 is primarily on the Scifi channel. In recent weeks, they've had "Stargate Monday" where they show four episodes from seasons 1-5 back to back starting at 7pm. However, next week that's going to change; only two episodes (a two-parter) and then nothing until midway through December.

They also show season six episodes during the Friday Prime lineup.

A cartoon!?! I don't think I could watch a cartoon based on Stargate, no matter how little it has to do with the real series. I can't really watch the film anymore either. It just doesn't seem right anymore.

I just watched the movie on Scifi. Spader as Daniel I can deal with, since the character is portrayed the same way Shanks did it.

However, O'Neil (movie) is very hard to reconcile with O'Niell (series).

In fact, in one of last Monday's episodes----"Secrets", I think----Jack tells a reporter: "That's Jack O'Niell, with two Ls. There's another Jack O'Niel with one L; no sense of humor at all."

The film had the same actors for Skarra and Sha're, though, although she was called Sha'uri. Also, the base was in Creek Mountain instead of Cheyenne Mountain.

i think youll find that share in the film is actually played by a differant actress to the one in the programme cause the one in the programme is played by michael shanks x-girlfriend cause in the episode secrets valerie was pregnant with michaels child so they were 2 differant ppl.

yeah season 8 was confirmed in a tv mag but Richard Dean Anderson sid theres a possible promotion for O'neill which mens its likely that carter will be put in command of sg-1 but i dunno what O'neill will do if he becomes a generl cause pparently Don.s.Dvis is coming back for season 8 and hes in command of the SGC.O'neill will probly commnd an off world base like the alpha site.

i suppose my fave episode was window of oppitunity where they got to play golf through the stargate. Its a v.funny episode and what it is tealc and jack are stuck in a loop which is going over and over again and daniel tells them that if they do summin in one loop its not going to be remembered in the next so there will be no actions held against them.
so they play golf through the stargate, jack kisses sam, they juggle, jack tries his hand at pottery and cycles through the sgc and tealc whacks a man with a door cause he keeps on getting wacked.

I've seen every episode except for the two latest ones.

I'm now in the process of watching from the beginning again. Season 1 is far better than I recall it being!
