Fludic Space is an "fluidic like" substance, which in my guess is in subspace. Species 8472 resides in this.

I thought fluiedic space was just another type of subspace.

Like deeper or not so deep into subspace.

I'm probably wrong.

Fludic space is another dimension which is has no stars or planets or matter, only biomatter. Species 8472 converts other forms of matter into biomatter then use it to power their ships.

fluidic space should be a kind of sub-space,in which physical properties are near non-existent or non-existent

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

There's matter, in fact, theres more matter than there is here. Their entire universe is filled with liquid.

Fluidic space can only be an alternative dimension. Can anyone remember if the warp drive still worked in Fluidic space?

Species 8472 are undoubtedly one of the most unusual organic lifeforms ever encountered by the Federation. Their origins lie in 'fluidic space' - a higher dimension which is apparently composed liquid rather than the empty space of our own universe. 8472 are the only species in their dimension, and had no conception of other lifeforms until the Borg invaded their territory.

Good enough for you? BTW, this was taken from www.ditl.com

We don't quite know what it is, all we do know, is that it's filled with matter, and of course there's more matter there than there is here, our space is a void, their space is filled with biomatter. Matter is something that has mass, and takes up space (which does not include energy, it has no mass, or at least none that I am aware of).

another dimention, entirely on another plane from our own, where species 8472 evolved as some freak accident from the normal protein bassed biomater that is the substance of that dimention.

I have not read this information. It is possible, although, they could have evolved from space, and as their race grew, saw themselves as a higher being. Their species did look technologically advanced. Ships made of biomatter, c'mon, I mean, they would have to be grown or engineered.
