(for those who know where i got this from don't yell at me please),

I want to know your opinions, do you think it is or not?

I think it's a little bit of both, X-Wings, Death Stars, such stuff like that is very Sci-Fi, but The Force is probably the only thing that isn't totaly Sci-Fi. What do you think? I think the some of the Lightsaber tactics are very possible put such things as Mace Windu jumping off a balcony down about 4 stories while defectling lightsaber blasts isn't very likely to happen without at least breaking a leg. What's your opinion?

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

I think if you take the movies alone, then its more of a fantasy epic set in space.

However, if you include the books in SW, they bring it more into the realm of Scifi.

I see, i haven't read the books, although i have read some of the comics. What kind of realities to they bring to the force? If you don't mind telling me.

Well, even in the books, the Force is still something of a fantasy element. However, even before Ep 1 introduced midiclorians, the Jedi Academy trilogy had Luke discovering an old device for measuring Force potential.

The main reason why I say its more SF-oriented in the books is because a good number of the books focus more on the tech and less on the mystiscism. For instance, the X-Wing series hardly even mentions Jedi until book 3.
