Andy Robinson, who is one of the finest actors to ever perform on Star Trek, did a exceptional job with Garak. From his first appearance in "Past Prologue" to his final scene with Bashier on Cardassia, Garak's constant half-truths and inuendos were the strongest aspects of the shows he was involved with. Don't like Garak? Watch the season three two parter "Improbable Cause" and "The Die is Cast," or season five's two parter, "By Inferno's Light" and "In Purgatory's Shadow" and then tell me you hated Garak.

And read "A Stitch In Time" by Andrew Robinson, who played Garak. Its basically Garak's life story, and its one of the finest Trek books ever.

I ahve to agree with the comment about 'Stitch in Time', and the list of episodes. I don't think that Garak appeared in *any* lame episodes come to think about it. And he had some great quotes, especially the one from the scene where Bashir is telling him about the 'boy who cried wolf'. Made me smirk for days...

I like the episode afterimage when ezri is assigned to counsel garak coz of his claustrophobic attacks and he tells her what his father would do to punish him

I thought he was kool. He always seamed to be one step ahead of everyone else and him and ducat(sp) was rally funny at times. Did anyone ever find out why he hated ducat so much as he shows and tells in the ep. Cardassians sesson2 ep. 5?

Ahhh, you non niners. Garek is a cardassian that lives on DS9. He used to be an obsidean (spelling) order member but was kicked out and exiled from Cardassia for reasons that i can't remember. He is a tailor on DS9, and a witty and fun person to say none the less.

^I would wait for the Dominion war arc episodes to come out before you buy any. They are the best IMHO.

The only thing i hated about Garek is when he helped the obsidiean order and talshiar preform a strike on the founder homeworld. That was cool, but odo was locked away and he could liquify (there version of sleeping) during the whole trip.
