What class of ship would the Enterprise be called? (the one Archer commands)

I see, is it the only one if it's kind or where more commissioned when starfleet was founded?
and another question when archer was strandard in the future the d00d (can't remember his name) said that the federation wasn't founded yet, but when Archer's commanders where talking to the Vulcans several times did they refere to themselves as Starfleet, is there something i'm missing here?

Emm enterprise was the first NX-class however Captain Archer always mentions that there are going to be a lot more of those class around

The d00d was Daniels. And it's important to remember the difference between Starfleet and The Federation. The Federation consists of more than just humans. And, the NX class is a prototype hence the name NX.

The ship on Enterprise is a lot different than all the other star treks, esp. the bridge..Most of the bridges on Star Trek looked the same, this on is different

Enterprise is like the beginning of ships........... its wasnt designed after anything, so....... that makes it a............. unique ship! There ya have it!

Lol I thought it looked like a cross between the Akira and an uspide down Miranda-class but without the rollbar thing. Kinda like an upside down Saratoga if you know what I mean.
