What did you all think of the show.

I started watching it a little late. I must say, the make up artists did a hell of a job on the taelons.

I thought it was a masterpiece.

However I did not like the way it ended; it made it seem cheap.

6 or 7 years of the show and it's ended, and the Final Conflict is over, with the snap of a finger.

Beside that, it was legendary show.

Season 1 was a masterpiece. Seasons 2-4 were very entertaining, if not quite as good. Season 5 was an abomination which should never have existed. The Atavus didn't even look like they were supposed to, and Boone's character was totally ruined----he became a standard action hero/love interest instead of a real character. Plus, they killed him AGAIN----off screen. What's the point of bringing him back just for two episodes, only to kill him again?

Something I found recently which I'm enjoying quite a bit:

http://www.scifiminds.net/vefc/

Its a fanfic site similar to Voyager Virtual Season 8/9, except that instead of continuing the series they're re-doing it starting with season 2. So Boone doesn't die at the end of season 1. They've only got three episodes so far, but the characterizations are spot-on, and I like the direction they're taking (which is different than the show).

I know exactly what you mean Lindley. The show was so good from the beginning. It's like the writers stopped writing.

All in all, Gene Roddenberry shows his brilliance once again.

Bravo!

They only just showed the episode where they brought back Boone over here, but it sucked. I wish they'd brough back Liam or not killed him, what a poor bit they did after he appeared where he had all these abilities that gradulaly faded, guess they wanted to cut some money as his abilites were the way to do it. At least if they'd brought back Liam/that some way for him to survive there would of been a reasonable way of doing it with all the alien DNA he has.

^Actually Liam does come back for the finale. It was originally supposed to be Boone, but Kevin Kilner wasn't available so they made it Liam.

^There's no question that season 5 was an abomination.

One final thing I must add. William Boune was the best. He was awesome. From the start, he is what attracted viewers. If they had brought him back for the finaly instead of killing him, I would of liked it much more.

William Boune should have stayed longer!

Again, I highly recommend that site I linked to above: "Earth: Final Conflict---Restoration".

How are they going to get the funding, and actors like boune back???????

Are they just writing sypnosis? Or are they actualy trying to get the show back on air?

No, its just written as fanfic. They use the same format as the series; a teaser, four acts, and an epilouge. However, its just writing. Excellently done, but still just written.

They *also* have episode synopses as if it were part of the TV series, separate from the actual stories.

Click on "Stories" on the left side of the page.

Was the end of the series where they go of into the space with the mothership? Because if it isn't what was the ending like?

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.
