It's possible it will end in the future when we have lot's more technology, but since there are some thigns that we just can't do, it'll probobly be on the show for us to all drule over!

The day Star Trek stops is the day TV as we know it stops. Trek has always been a show anyone can love--- either love to love it, or love to hate it. It has molded Space-age Sci-fi into what it is today. Trek addresses present time political delema in an effective, creative fasion. It bridges action, drama, suspense, and everything that adults love in a TV show, and makes it family friendly. There will always be those like NBC that want it shut down, but the Trekkies and Trekkers and just plain Trek fans will always outnumber them. Star Trek is- whether you like it or not- is completely 100% American Constitutional rights in movement: Freedom of Speech, Religion, the right to peaceful protest, it's all mixed in the formula. Star Trek is most likely the best thing that ever happened to TV and it MUST NEVER END!

Star Trek will go on and on and on... 'cuz it runs on dilithium crystals and that's better than a bunny running on energizer batteries
Well, Voyager uses gel packs and that's even better than crystals
