Did anyone else watch the series premiere of Fox's new Sci-fi show Firefly? I thought it was incredible...it's by the same guy who created Buffy. Sort of like a better done Babylon 5 without the extreme amount of aliens. I will definitely keep watching this show every Friday...the plot lines intrigue me and I like the potential of all the characters. I'm also a fan of Jewel Slaite bc I used to watch her a lonnnggg time ago when she did the Disney Channel series Flash Forward, so I can't wait to see how her acting style has changed over the years! If you didn't happen to catch Firefly, I would really recommend you watch it next week.

I was just about to make a topic " This has got to be the all time dullest theme song ever" What the hell is that? (Labatt throws up) I am never gonna watch this show. DA baby!

^Now, now, you can't judge a show by its theme song.
Firefly looked interesting. The "western" aspects are a bit overdone, perhaps, but overall it has a lot of potential. Its going in a different direction from most Scifi shows, which is a good thing----we've seen the future from the POV of the big government quite enough. Now we're seeing it from the POV of the losers. Its interesting.

It's a new sci-fi series on Fox from 8-9 PM ECT, Shrek Man
I really don't think the cast sucks--and I like the theme song. I've been really impressed by the show thus far, actually just got done watching it!

Bugger...I've never even heard of it. That's what I get for limiting my time with the TV...which only results in increased time with the computer.  I'll have to check this out.
