PostMon Sep 30, 2002 4:32 pm    Disease cure...

I think they should have created a disease to target the phage.

I mean if they had created a disease to hunt the phage down wouldn't that take care of the problem? They could make the disease very weak against conventional medicine but very strong against the phage so that when the disease hunted the phage killed it. when they were done they could use conventional medicine to cure themselves.

THis is just what I think.

ya but the actual race looked like humans only the affected people were extreamly hidious, besides if the desies was used to combat the *beep* then eventualy that desies would mutate and become incurable like all of them

maybe so.. But I would take a more conventional way to kill it. I would try and synthesize genes to fight it and splice it into my genes. Kinda like they do to make insulin.

the phage adapts to new tryed medicines. they have been trying for some 2000 years to irradicate the disease without success, so. they do now however have renewed hope with some of belannas dna they got.

It will adapt to that to over time, the antidote must be able to adapt with the viruse or it would never work.
