Personally, I can't wait for Homecoming and the Mission: Gamma series.

^I haven't heard about that, but its not impossible.
Homecoming, due out in 2003, will be the first book of the Voyager Relaunch.
The other books I mentioned, Mission: Gamma, will be the next installments in the DS9 relaunch, which was begun with Avatar 1&2, Section 31: Abyss, and Gateways: Demons of Air and Darkness.

Same here, Im really looking forward to its release. I red the sneak preview of it at the back of the novel of Endgame. It was brilliant; I think the finished novel is going to be really good. I cant wait! LOL

That's not possible. The folks at Pocket books (who post on the TrekBBS board) would know about it, and they've definately said early 2003.

Like Lindley says, it can't be out here, and I'm sure if it was, Star Trek Monthly would have reviewed it.
Well I was looking forward to getting Gateways 7, seen as it hasn't been in my local shops, but I ordered through the post and it arrived today!!
I also have the other 6 Gateways so I'm looking forward to reading them all.

You know how DS9 has been "Relaunched" with the Avatar and other books? Introducing new characters, new story arcs, and wrapping up threads not handled in the final episode?
Well, that's what Homecoming and future books will do for Voyager. The only difference is that the VOY relaunch will be written exclusively by Cristie Golden.

OK so im quoting myself but just ignore that. I was reading this months issue os "star Trek Monthly" and on Page 8 It says about 10 new star trek books. Apparently there is a book called "Rising Sun" which tells the story about wot happened to Jake at the end of Avatar Book 2. There is a mass market edition of "The Lives of Dax". Another DS9 book called "Unity" as well as a DS9 anthology to be published later in 2003. There is also a series of six books coming out entitled "The Lost Era" which are based on ships such as the Excelsior the Enterprise B The Enterprise C and other adventures of characters out of the original series. Authors for these 6 books include Ilsa J. Blick, Margaret Wander Bonano, Keith R.A. DeCandio, David R George, Jeff Mariotte, and Andy Mangels and Michael A. Martin.
Apparently they will be in the form of stand alone novels which comprise a series much like the Section 31 novels. They are sheduled to be released in August 2003 and one per month.

I'm pretty sure of this. The first two come out in October, the latter two in November (for the UK anyway).
BTW, if you're interested, someone dies in the third one!!

OK thanks I'll keep looking. I know games, like films, are often released on a specific date and I wondered if it worked the same way for books lol. Thanks anyway.
