I am correcting my view on phasers. I have learned they they are in fact rapid nadion streams (such particle has not beeen discovered, mind you, and I was basing my assumptions on current knowledge). Nadions seem to be the most eeficient means of energy transfer/conversion.

I have heard this before...If they found this particle and learned how to control it, it would only be logical to use the most efficeient transferer. This is most iinteresting...I must find out more!

wether phasers produce light or not, it is important that they do,
if a ship needs to target manualy they need to see where they shoot
so maybe they just died the beams?
beside this is one of those debates that can go on forever just like the fact that you hear the phasers and photons being shot although there is technicly no sound in space, just accept it and enjoy the show who cares if its not 100 % scientificly correct
