THE ENTERPRISE IS AN NX class starship.we find this out in FORTUNEATE SON. Travis when talking to the first officer of the Fortuneate Son saidsomething to the effect of, "There are more NX class starships on the drawing borad and starfleet could use exprienced officers like you"

Enterprise is an NX class starship. The ONLY class starship of earth, really. (not counting cargo ships)

The Enterprise kicks butt. It may bear a resemblence to the Akira class, but so what? the Akira class rocks!
