I havn't but was wondering if it was any good. It doesn't look all that thick for the amount you pay-something like 7.99 or 9.99 I can't remember...

I think it's 7.99, and I thought it seemed a bit thin, haven't bought it, and haven't seen it in the shops either.

I was hoping someone else had read it except me, I got it back in July in a bookstore called Ottakars. Although its a bit pricy for 7.99 and what your getting its worth a read if your a Doctor fan or just find his character amusing.

I say when you are in the book store just have a peek at a couple of the pages to see what it's like.

^ Nothing wrong with that, but usually I read a review of a book before I buy it anyway.

Same here although if I see a book that looks good either from cover (not always such a good thing to rely on btw) or from the description on the back I might get it on spur of the moment sort of thing...I'm going into town tomorrow, I think I might try to get "By the book" if I can...

That's a good book, I've got it.

I suppose if I saw the Hologram's Handbook in the shops I'd buy it.

Well I thought it was a good introduction to Enterprise, because when I read it I was still getting used to the show.

Well if I'd read the Hologram's Handbook I could compare it to that, but since I haven't..... oh well.

I wouldn't do that, I don't anyway, usually because I don't agree with what these people say...

...But thaqt's just my opinion...

Well usually they comment on a part of the book and I think, oh well, I can't buy them all, they all look good, so I'll buy the one they say's good.

I got it for my birthday and it was really really good and funny to... you could really see the doc in it. the only flaw was that it was a bit short for the price... but over all a good book

There's also an Ottokars shop next to Papyrus and the Buchanan Galleries on Sauchiehall St in Glasgow. I like Borders and Waterstones for books, though, but the Borders on Buchanan St is like a rabbit warren. The Waterstones building is beautiful though. Anyway I haven't read the Hologram's Handbook, but I was contemplating buying The Tribble's Guide to the Universe (is that right? It's the Tribble's guide to something....) I was wondering if anyone here had read it?
