after i look at some ships specifications ive noticed that a lot of poople put in quantum phasers do they really exist in the star trek universe?

yeah yur probably right although the jem'hadar use polaron beams that are almost the same color as the quantum torpedoes so maybe that cause some confusion

because the power need for a quantum burst can
only be harnested in a torpedo
