Sun Aug 11, 2002 6:36 pm Whats The Scariest X-File episode? |
|
Hello everyone,
I am going to come out the cupboard and announce that I am an X-Phillie, Yes I am an accomplished X-Phillie as well as a Janewayite and proud of it. In fact I was an X-Phillie before a Trekky and I can proudly stand up and announce that I Admiral_Kathryn_Janeway have seen and own every episode ever made. Mauhahahahahahah!!!!!!
Calling all X-Phillie's in da house, what do you think the Scariest X-File episode is?
Was it Home?
The gruesome discovery of a dead and horribly deformed new born baby leads Mulder and Scully to investigate there prime suspects the freakish Peacock brothers. The deformed and violent peacock boys; the horrific murder of the sheriff and his wife; the body under the bed; and the underlying incest theme. Imagery doesnt get more gruesome than this. This is defiantly not one to watch before bedtime!
Was it Our Town?
The owner of a meat processing plant in a small town comes under investigation after people mysteriously disappear. Cannibalism! One things for certain watching this episode will make you think twice than eating certain types of fast food.
Was it Grotesque?
An imprisoned serial killer claims that he is possessed by an evil spirit. The killers victims are transformed in to Gargoyles.
Was it Irresistible?
Death fetishist Donnie turns to Mulder in order to satisfy his cravings, Scully unwittingly becomes Donnies next target.
Was it Chinga?
Scully stumbles across a supermarket where shoppers have inexplicably mutilated them selves. From the Childs play type like doll to the shoppers clawing at there own eyes this episode is filled with creepy imagery. Polly and Chinga make one scary double act.
Was it Die Hand Die verletzt?
Mulder and Scully investigate the grizzly murder of a teenager in a small town populated by devil worshippers.
Was it The Calusari?
The mysterious death of an toddler at an amusement park leads Mulder and Scully to an unlikely suspect. But it turns out there suspect is possessed by an evil force-the spirit of his stillborn brother. The exorcism scene was the highlight of this episode.
Was it Roadrunners?
Scully goes solo to consult on a murder case involving the mysterious death of a traveler beaten to death. She finds her self stuck in a town of creepy towns folk who worship a giant slug type creature.
Oh, no! I have ran out of room for any more!
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!

Yeah, I think they have already aired it in America. Over here in the UK they are just reaching the end of season 8 so I dont think we will see season nine until next year.
Have a look at The X Files That might help you.

lol "Chinga" is a reeeeeeallly bad word in Spanish. When Stephen King came up with it he didn't know it but it's REALLY bad. I lvoed all of those eps, but I'd have to say that the one episode I found scariest was actually Memento Mori and anything in the cancer-arc. The episodes that really scared me where not the ones with monsters etc. (although they did too), but the ones where Scully really experienced fear and doubt in herself and her world, b/c I really empathize with her. I'm like a Betazoid when it comes to Scully: it's really scary.

I voted for Chinga. That definitely freaked me out. It reminded me alot of the Child's Play movies, which scared the crap out of me when I was younger. I still get freaked out by dolls -- especially when they're just "staring" at me lol.
