|
I was wondering which ships would turn out to be the most popular. I happen to realy like the Nova Class starship. It is like a smaller mor basic version of the Intrepid Class. But if it was to be upgraded, with the Defiant class warp Core (Which it would have originaly had if the project had not been shelved). Give it Intrepid Style Bio-Nural circutry, then wow what a ship. But back to the question, what would you all choose??

That site is cool!!!I like the book "Starship Spotter" for info on ships stations, etc (just a bit of random info for u there ) My favourite ship is the Delta Flyer and my favourite Capital ship would have to be either the Intrepid, the Prometheus or the Nova as you say. The Rhode Island from Endgame was particularly good but I was wondering is it any different to the Nova seen in Equinox????

I thought the same, the Nova Class in end Game looked exatly like the Equinox (Apart from the Rhode Island from end Game was in beter condition, Captin Kim didnt tick off a transdimentional species).
There was a slight difference, Kims Nova had fins on the Warp Nacells.
That was a slight slip up I thought as it would have probably been refitted so it would have looked a little different. The bridge was different, infact Rhode Island was probably closer to my ideal Nove. Bio-nural circitury and computer upgrades.

Out of those two, i think the prometheus Class wins, just because it is three ships in one, and i thing is a better design that the Soverign.

no the sovereign is the most powerfull ship, closely followed by the prometheus. consider that the prometheus is a 'hidden' warship 60% of its weapons are hidden when not seperated. the MVAM allowes it to be about 5/6 as powerful as the sovereign class. the prometheus is starfleets answer to a hidden warship only to be used if nessessary. the sovereign is more a as good as it gets best warship to scare the hell out of bad guys!

I would either choose the Intrepid or Diefiant (hope I spelled it right) class starships or the Delta Flyer before it was destroyed by the Borg.

the galaxy class is nice, like a luxury hotel in space
all that wood and leather. a huge warp powered jaguar. LOOK at the bridge.
Amyway, if i could choos any ship it would be a modified intrepid.
To be honest i like all of the ships. but if one ship could be made from all of the ships, intrepid bio-nural circuitry, soverigh computer core, crammed in to a nova class with a defiant warp core. and all the inside fitted out with a galaxy class style interior. have only one cargo bay and one shuttle bay. the rest of the space turned in to holodecks, sience and crew space. what about that then. call it a Salsa Class.
(Because i have some doritos salsa near by)

I think the ideal ship would be the exterior of a Soveriegn, the interior of a Galaxy, the warp nacelles of an Intrepid, Pulse phasers of a Defiant and Photon, Quantum, Chronoton and transphasic torpedoes along with the phasers of the Enterprise from all good things. (the furure one) Also it must be able to land!

Imagine if the Enterprise had just one of them in First Contact. Those Borg would have ended up being sent home in a sack.
