Bush Sr. should have finished the job, I'll give you that, but what is happening now really has nothing to do w/ what happened ten years ago. Do a little research on what Saddam does to his own people, not even considering what he does to Americans, or even the British for that matter.

One more thing. It is not solely up to President Bush whom we attack. There is ALOT of people who are involved in making that decision.

I'm not sure but I think he has to pay for his actions but I also think they should confine him!

i think starting a topic about politics is a very bad decision.because people views are much different.just like talking about sex and religion.those topics are best kept for private talk.just because they can start so much controversy.

Didn't do anything wrong? Do a little research on this, then post again, k? If you still feel that way, fine, but I want you to see what it is that that man, and I use that term loosely, has really done.

Oh tell me what bad things did he do then?! but still lots of country leaders do wrong things....but what gives the u.s the right to interfere? Besides he can only be stopped by the country's own population

He has been doing things TO the U.S., that's what gives them the right. Also, alot of his people have been asking the U.S. to help them. I really don't have time to do the research, and copy and paste it here for you. One thing I saw recently was that because the country is poor, (and that only since he seized power), instead of trying to find a way to feed his people, he just had his soldiers shoot hundreds of them. Men, women, children, elderly, it didn't matter, less mouths to feed.
And there is no reason to yell, I didn't tell you you were wrong, or anything like that.

http://abcnews.go.com/reference/bios/shussein.html

It's just a breif biography of him. I'm on my way out now, but I think I'll MAKE the time when I get home to look some stuff up. He is really one BAD dude.

ok your right im sorry....but i dont believe anything about that schooting people that nonsense. And dont you think this oilembargo is contrubuting to the poverty in his country. I think the us is just intrested in the oil there and the humain reasons come on a second place.

Alot of the shooting was caught on tape, and documented by Iraqui government officials. He did nothing to hide it. And the embargo is his own fault. The reason there is an embargo is to help the people, not for us to get the oil. It actually cuts down on the oil that we get from them.

Actually, it is. The living conditions in Iraq are so bad most of us cannot even begin to imagine. Things have slowly been getting better. The U.S., and other countries have been sending food. Well, the people get what Saddam doesn't steal. That country would be ALOT better off without him. Even they know it.

OK Maquis 74656-remind me never to get into a game of Tongo with u!

I personally don't think they should attack iraq as if they do succeed in overthrowing Saddam I reckon Iraq will split into 2 countries Western Iraq and Kurdish Iraq and then there'll be an even bigger problem
