And I don't think that Yoda got any Jedi children out. If he had, then there would be other Jedi in the galaxy, not just Luke.
The third will only be about two years after AOTC.
I cannot wait for 2005, the next one had better rock, because it's Star Wars' last movie!
Oh, well. I bet George Lucas really wants to move on to other projects without having Star Wars to worry about.

Yoda does get some Children out...because in the books there's Mara Jade and some others. But the Emporer tried to hunt them all down and make them servants of him.

Mara Jade was the Emporer's Hand, he found her after the Jedi Purge and trained her himself. Same with the other Hands.
The other Jedi that Luke finds are all either younger than he is, or were Dark Jedi, as far as I know. A few were over-looked by the Republic i.e. Corran Horn, Streen, Cilghal, etc.
The Jedi Masters could not train every Force-sensitive child, some were too old, some were born after the Jedi were dissolved.

Luke isn't the only person able to use the Force but he is the only one that becomes a Jedi Master.
Shortly After TCOPL ((The Courtship of Princess Leia)) Jedi Master Luke Goes in search of others who are force attuned and Starts a Jedi Academy.
Book is Called Jedi Search.. Then there are two others after that... The Third being Champions of the Force.

I know those books very well, just read them about a month ago. You'll see that most of the Jedi Luke finds are either younger than he is or have no knowledge of the Force. If Yoda had gotten them out, then they would have had some training, some understanding of their powers. The only ones that do were Dark Jedi that were turned to the Light Side again.

I heard a rumor that in one of the books it was going to be revealed that Mon Mothma was really Padme in disguise(which would mean she doesn't get killed)...but the pieces just don't fit together for that...although it would be cool.

Jedi Searchwas about 21 years after the great Jedi Purge. The children would have grown up and have had kids of there own. they were always on the run from the Emperor's Hands, Like Mara Jade who was trying to get revenge on them for the death of Palpatine. they wouldn't have had time to teach their children the force. besides All sith can Sense when a group of good Jedi are getting together, Another reason they couldn't teach them.

Then where are the kids of the kids that Yoda got out?
You don't have to have Jedi or Force-sensitive parents to be able to use the Force. And if these people did have kids, by the time that Jedi Search arrived, the kids that Yoda got out would be around 30, give or take. Assuming that they had children , by the time of the New Jedi Order, their children would be what, 14-18? Why are they not in the Jedi Academy?

Jedi Search isn't part of the NJO series. The NJO series is 25+ years after the Battle of Yavin.

Jedi Search is 11 years after the Battle of Yavin

I know that, I was just using the New Jedi Order as an example for the kids' ages.

May I say that "I, Jedi" made far more sense character-wise than the Jedi Academy Trilogy did.

Also, just because Yoda may have saved some of the children doesn't mean they'd survive all the way to A New Hope and beyond. Vader was probably hunting them down all those years.

EDIT: Wait.....are we talking about "Children of the Jedi"? I don't remember that book too well, except that it wasn't very good.

Agreed on that note. Children of the Jedi was a bad book.

Yes, it was. It was hard to keep up with, and difficult to finish.
