I'm excited, I just got a bargain on two books; The Biology of Star Trek and The Computers of StarTrek. I got them at a discount outlet store. They seem really cool and well written(One author even has a PhD) A good find for me since I didn't even realize they existed.
I've been wanting to read the Physics of Star Trek but they didn't have it. Has anyone read any of these? Or the Metaphysics of StarTrek?

Well, I haven't read all of either one, but I have both "The Physics of Star Trek" and "The Ethics of Star Trek".

I noticed that there is a "the Biology of Star Trek" at a school (I guess that this is a very unlikely event, please correct me if I'm wrong).

what did you think or it? I haven't read any of these books but I want the Physics of star trek and I can't find it anywhere. I'm probably just going to order it offline.

The Physics of Star Trek is a pretty good book if you like theories and stuff like that. It talks about how wormholes could exist, why transporters aren't possible (or warp drive) but how they work in star trek. Really good book if you like to think about stuff like that!

Ive checked out the Biology of Star Trek, actually, a very boring read...This guy runs around pointing out discrepinsies in episodes...

But I love physics! I want to be an astrophysicist when I grow up.
Stephen Hawking talks about some of the stuff in star trek in one of his books. "The Universe in a Nutshell" I think. I love that book.

the physics of star trek does talk about how some things are impossible, and about discrepencies, but mostly about the theories behind trek stuff...
