DS9 was much more cerebral than any of the other ST series.

You had to think more to understand it. It was meant more to stimulate your mind instead of just your emotions.

I admit there was some boring parts to the series, but i really liked DS9.It was something different for people to get involved in. Instead of always on starships the focus was on a station that supported cultures and different races to meet kinda like starfleet command.I learned alot from different races on that series.

I thought it was a good show. It just seemed dark and dreary all the time to me, so sometimes it made me lose interest. I still like it though.

DS9 was ok.It could of had more action.I think the conflicts with the prophets madeit interesting, but it still needed more interesting plots. All in all,it was good.Besides,it's Star Trek.

What are you all talking about? This was the greatest Trek series - the original suffered from lack of money and the effects limitations of the time, TNG was very good, but suffered from being in the eighties and occasionally running out of conflict and Voager is just terrible. DS9 was intelligent, deep, action packed, ocassionally funny and had some of the best writing and characterisation on television. They were all great - except Vic Fontane.

It was good, being star trek, but I prefer Voyager and TNG.

It is obvious that there are several different aspects that spark the imagination in DS9, be it the phrophets, the dominion or the politics, or countless other things it has added. But how many more "I hate DS9, i love Voyager" rants must us DS9 fans endure in the DS9 forum. I have nothing against Voyager, but the line must be drawn-no further....etc

YOU HAVE JUST CROSSED THE LINE thisbloke, HOW DARE YOU SAY VOYAGER IS ALOAD OF RUBBISH!, WELL THEN MR.SISCOBOY. VOYAGER IS THE BEST, THE ACTING BY KATE MULGREW IS COOL!
