Yeah, which also means that it's also my parents 26th wedding anniversary. It's odd to think that we were planning for that, that it was priority, and then suddenly, it wasn't.

That is a very true statement. I can't believe it's been a year. It still seems like yesterday.

I just wish people would realize that just because it has been almost a year, doesnt mean its over, or ever will be. Every day I see flags that people put up that week that are now tattered, torn, and some even on the ground. I hear so many people complain about all of the red white and blue clothes we carry at my work, and how it's getting old. How can patriotism and allegiance get old? If we aren't proud enough to stop and take time to show our gratitude to a nation that has fought for our freedom with it's very own blood, then why even bother to be here?

OK, I'm sorry for ranting and raving, but I'm not at all sorry for what I said. I encourage all Americans to find some way to show pride in your country. Thanks for listening.

I totally agree. It's like the stamps we sell, they have Amerian Flags on them. The most common question is, "Don't you have anything better?". That really irritates me. I think that it's sad that people forget who they are, and where they came from.
