PostWed Jun 19, 2002 1:15 pm    episode 3

I heard there were a series of wars that greatly decreased the jedi numbers. A series I thought was 3 or more

the first ep was droid wars
the second was clone wars
the third, there is a 2 book set called the bounty hunter wars so I think this is what ep 3 will be based on.

The Jedi Purge decreased the number of Jedi. The Emporer orders Anakin, I believe, to destroy all the Jedi. He very nearly does. Only a very very few Jedi survive, i.e. Yoda and Obi-Wan.

Anakin Turns to the Dark Side.
Almost all the Jedi are wiped out save Yoda and Most likely some kids that yoda was teaching get away.
Luke and Leia are born and seperated
Anakin gets into a lightsaber Fight with Obi-Wan and loses.
Anakin becomes Lord Vader

more or less no...
Lucas will stick to a basic Plot of showing what we already know is going to happen.. i don't think he would add the bounty hunter wars...

But i DO think Boba Fett is going to play a large role in Episode 3..

I Believe he's going to Kill Mace Windu for beheading his father

Well at least it will be one Hella good fight scene...there weren't any REALLY good ones in ep.2. I know they had the clone wars and the thing with Count Dooku and Yoda but ep.1 fight scenes with Darth Maul and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were much better.

Yeah I know that was like one of the coolest parts in the the movie. I love ep.2 I saw it 3 times. But the fight scenes with light-saber2light-saber combat weren't that good. The best part was when Anakin wielded two and that didn't last very long did it? lol.

it's supposed to come out sometime in 2005.

here's some background:

Episode 3 is supposedly about 10 years after episode 2.
More or less Luke and Leia Are born and Shipped away.
Anakin supposedly kills Padme (May or may not happen)
Anakin goes nuts and Falls to the Dark side.
he Becomes Palpatine's Apprentice
Anakin loses his fight With Obi-Wan becomes Scared for life and becomes Lord Vader.
Palpatine Uses the Clone Army and Takes over Becoming Emperor.
The Great Jedi Purge Happens.
Mace Windu Probably Killed by Boba Fett, Revenge for Beheading Jango
The Rebellion is most likely started later.

I have most of them already.

News Flash....

Boba Fett may not be the one to kill mace windu.
Anakin May be the one to kill him...

Why you may ask.

Windu Supposedly kills Padme sometime after childbirth

Why would Mace Windu kill Padme at all?
And I don't think that Yoda got any Jedi children out. If he had, then there would be other Jedi in the galaxy, not just Luke.
The third will only be about two years after AOTC.
I cannot wait for 2005, the next one had better rock, because it's Star Wars' last movie!
Oh, well. I bet George Lucas really wants to move on to other projects without having Star Wars to worry about.

First of all, the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy are some of the *worst* books in the SW Extended Universe.

Second, they happen during A New Hope, and after ROTJ.

Luke isn't the only person able to use the Force but he is the only one that becomes a Jedi Master.
Shortly After TCOPL ((The Courtship of Princess Leia)) Jedi Master Luke Goes in search of others who are force attuned and Starts a Jedi Academy.
Book is Called Jedi Search.. Then there are two others after that... The Third being Champions of the Force.

Yoda does get some Children out...because in the books there's Mara Jade and some others. But the Emporer tried to hunt them all down and make them servants of him.
