I've read practically all of them. Some are good, some not....
At the moment, probably "Star Trek: Spectre" by William Shatner with J/G Reeves-Stevens.

Every one needs to read The Next Generation SAREK. It tells the life of Sarek, and lets you in on alot of stuff.

I finished readin Dominion War a while ago. It was ok but didnt do the television episodes of the parts covered in the book justice. Last week I got "Avatar" (both of em) and thought they were ok at first but i soon got bored. so as a final attempt to get a good trek book i followed ur advice on pathways. Without a doubt it is the best Voyager, and even Star Trek book I have ever read. Is "mosaics" any good? I have never seen it in shops so if it is any good ill probably have to order it. Well thanks 4 tellin me bowt Pathways neway, lol. Ta

Mosaic by Jeri Taylor, closly followed by Pathways by Jeri Taylor.
Both are brilliant books and it's was really nice to read about the Voyager crew's histories. Also there was a smidgin of J/C in each which is all the better.
(Also I would never say no to any book by Christie Golden, she is a brilliant writer and was even asked to pitch a script for the show! Pitty she didn't, but hey she might want to pitch for a movie! )

Cool, I'll keep an eye out for any of her books. what's the best would you say. I have read quite a few Trek books but I find that in many of them, the authors get lots of things wrong if you know what i mean. For example in one book (i cant remember which one) it said about the Enterprise having "warp cores" and stuff which sort of spoilt it for me as it didnt seem true to the series. Picky me, lol.

Christie Golden is one of the few authors that has continuaity and get's things right!
Her best books she's done so far are the Dark Matters series, yet it's advisable to read her previous book, Marooned before you read that series as she makes some refrences to it, but it's not important. Also her part in the Gateways series is fun to read, she does a good Q.
Also Homecoming which is set after Endgame looks to be really good but that ain't out till 2003.
Hope that helps Delta Flyer!

Yeah it has helped thanx. I'm going on holiday in a couple of weeks and need to get some reading material so it looks like I'll be getting the Dark Matters trilogy but first I need to get Millennium Book 3 "Inferno". I think the Millennium series is a good trilogy as well...but I want to get the DS9 Section 31 Novel as well...lol there are so many! But I think Dark Matters will shortly be joining my collection. Thanks again.
