The Fall of the Republic.

Do you read the SW books? Many of them are quite good. Others are just so-so.

Wow, I didn't think there even were that many. Well, let me count:

3 Thrawn trilogy
3 Jedi Academy trilogy
3 Black Fleet Crisis
2 Hand of Thrawn
1 Truce at Bakura
1 Darksaber
1 Children of the Jedi
1 Planet of Twilight
1 Rogue Planet
1 Cloak of Deception
1 The Approaching Storm
3 Corellian trilogy
9 X-Wing series

That's 30 so far, plus:

1 The Crystal Star
11 The New Jedi Order
14 Young Jedi Knights
6 Junior Jedi Knights
1 I, Jedi
12 (?) Jedi Apprentice
1 The Courtship of Princess Leia

....That's 56 more, for a total of 86. Wow. There ARE a lot of them! Of course, the Young Adult books make up a large portion of that (30+). And I may have forgotten a few, as I'm typing this from memory.

Whoops, you're right.....

3 Han Solo trilogy
1 Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina
1 Tales from Jabba's Palace
1 Tales of the Bounty Hunters
1 Tales from the Empire
1 Tales from the New Republic
(was there a Tales of Cloud City? I don't remember)
1 Shadows of the Empire
1 Splinter of the Mind's Eye
1 The Adventures of Han Solo
1 The Adventures of Lando Calrissian

Which makes 12 more! (possibly 13)
