yeah but didnt Q make first contact in star trek TNG, so it would be stupid for hijm to make first contact before that in enterprise. i dont think he should appear, i never rated the Q episodes.

I agree. Q was introduced at the right time. They shouldn't mes with it. Just, maybe, put them in a movie later on.

Here's what I understand of the Q and Borg meetings w/Starfleet:
Durring the original series only 3% of the galaxy was explored, durring next gen. it was up to like 7% (the numbers may be a little off.) Q started contact with Enterprise because they were going beyond that little percent and Q didn't feel that they were ready. Therefor Q put them into the delta quadrent to meet the borg to prove that they weren't ready. Now, if you put either Q or the borg onto Enterprise, you're taking that whole premise away. The reason they left it being so low in the numbers is because they can make many more star trek shows to come. If they are gonna take back the story and timeline, it would be impossible to make more shows. btw, I got all this info mostly from a star trek marathon on TNN. Don't get upset if there is incorrect info, just please let me know.

You have a good point. The writers do a really good job concerning the timeline.

Again, I do agree that it would be cool. But they can't disregard the timeline they've already set.

I knew this would happen although most people here said it wouldn't
recent interview
Berman said there could be an appearance by the omnipotent alien, Q, played by John de Lancie in episodes of The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager since his first appearance in "Encounter At Farpoint". "We've discussed bringing back Q; it's possible," he said.

I'd like Q to turn up in Ent. He'd make it more comical and I'm sure they could fix the timeline problem like they did with the borg. I'd love to see Archers face lol

Well, maybe it would screw with the timeline (But that's saying it's not already out the window) So, I think it would 'Lighten the Mood.' I mean, Q could insult T'Pol and her vulcan way of thinking, and he could mess with Archer's head. Better than what we have now.

I think that it would be interesting for Q to show up on Enterprise. He could screw around with humanity, and then reverse the space-time continum to before it all happened, nothing in the timeline would be changed.

It would be interesting... arguably, it would screw up the timeline but then again, it might not. There are two or three episodes in Star Trek TNG where they encounter an alien being, get their memory wiped out and carry on like nothing happened. It could be the same thing, right? After all, Archer's father could be... Q!

I love Q but he does not belong to ENT, I think. He would not have such a great victim like Jean-Luc or Janeway for his "jokes".

No way Q should show up, they try to bend so many rules with Enterprise and should not even scratch the Q surface. The Borg was enough. But I wonder what John de Lancie will do in the mean time......?
