Do you think we'll be capable for an travel / communication in outer space, or even fight an inter-galactic war by the next century?

doubtful in this century, or the next!!!!!!!!! we are far from it... but you never know... fight in one... no... if we aren't the only ones out here then we probably won't be the first and will be way behind technology wise

I'm asking because the setting of the Star Trek series is around the 22nd century... if I'm not mistaken and I don't think we're halfway through their technology...

I don't belive it is possible within this this century or even the next...But if we put our minds to it we will! Just as Star Trek has already done it!

Everyone assumes ET is more advanced than us. Not always true.

I think that we will be capable of ships that could reach mars in 20 years, ships that could reach pluto in 200 years and ships designd for inter galactic travle and colonization in 1500 years. I think that warp will only hapen after we acheave a stable fution field, all this will only hapen if the world would unite and all resorces were put into science instead of military.

Yeah, but all the world leaders are too fat headed and arrogant to call a truce with the rest of the world.

Well, actually i meant the Middle East. I'm not being a racist or anything and I apologise just in case this offends but their religion is totally screwing up this planet.

That's all I have to say, I've been Jerry Springer, goodnight.

Why is it that every person and alien speaks with an American accent?

Why can't it be Sanish or Irish or English or something eh?

personally, I think it will be when (if ever) we all pull together and pool the planets natural, industrial, and human resources.
