I am happy for you. The last season is horrific, and I don't mean scary.

THe last season doesnt have as much excitment as the earlier ones w/ Mulder! BUT THE LAST EPISODE'S TODAY
SO SAD..... and I read somewhere that they explain all about Mulder sister dissapereing and most (too many to explan all) of the like secreats and questions. I've always watched the X-files with my Family... Every Sunday we'd get together have a big Dinner and then At ( we'd watch THe X-files. Most of my family love Dogget but I didnt like him as much a Mulder!!!!

I love the X files as well, I have watched that show for years.
When I heard that they were going to introduce another agent and that Mulder was not going to be in it, I was worried that the show was not going to be the same any more.
Then I saw the first episode of season 8 and I loved it. I thought Agent Doggett fit in really well and that Robert Patrick did a brilliant job portraying the new agent. The X files is an enjoyable first-class show and I have enjoyed every single moment of it, it gets better all the time. I am saddened it is all coming to an end.
Thank you Chris Carter For a Brilliant ten years.

I've watched a bit of the x-files. It's one heck of a good show.

The X-Files kicked ass in the beginning and also until the end. It was a great loss for me when The X-Files stopped but I know they are at work for making the second movie and I cant wait

^^ Here here!!!
I was devastated when XF ended: it was the show that I grew up with essentially (I grew up from about 11-13 lol). I learned so much from it: I developed a passion for science and learning, and a character which I am (usually) proud of because of Scully (who is one of my role models, along w/Janeway and Picard of course). I loved the show throughout its seasons, though I agree that the tone of the show certainly changed as it aged. I am a huge fan: I have memorized so much of that show it's not funny! lol
When Doggett and Reyes came onto the show I actually enjoyed their characters very much: I felt that a couple of new agents was something they needed, b/c (as they should have), Mulder and Scully became so jaded that it was difficult to do anything funny with them anymore. One of the wonderful things about it in its earlier seasons was that every epsiode was fresh and exciting, and the characters had a unique sense of humour which gave the show its versatility. It was a romance, a drama, a sci-fi extraveganza, and a comedy all rolled into one, but as the lives of Mulder and Scully became more and more dangerous and they became accustomed to it, the characters changed so that there was almost no room for humour anymore. It made sense: the character transition was very natural and true, but it did become a bit wearing. When you empathize with a character it's difficult to watch them lose that freshness, and that's why DOggett and Reyes were added: to bring in a new infusion of freshness, romance, and humour along with the skepticism of those new to the X-Files. I wish that CC and co. had continued the show with Doggett and Reyes, but I suppose I'll have to be content to read a lot of fanfic....lol

Yay fanfic!
