I thought Picard sucked the first season too. You just need to see if he can "get into" the part any better. He has to get to know the character just as well as we do.

I don't think he sucked. I just think it needs work. He does need to grow into the character though.

But it would be easier if the character was more defined. That's my problem with the whole enterprise show. The only one I think has any clue is T'Pol, and that's cuz all she has to do is act Vulcan, and she can look at previous vulcan characters to do that. No one else can really do that.

archer is a bit too smug for my likng. i think that is kinda annoying, confident isnt so bad, like piccard is, but he isnt smug.
