Which is the best TOS book. Bantam and Pocket Book versions.(TOS books are published by two differnt Publishers)
My Favorite Pocket Book Version would be "The Lost Years" and My favorite Bantam Version would be "Spock, Messiah".

Mt favorite TOS book is "Spectre" by William Shatner Now it isn't just TOS, its also Voyager and TNG, but I still like it a lot.

I liked both of the Phoenix books, Price of the Phoenix, and Fate of the Phoenix.
For Pocket books, I would say Kobayashi Maru, and Flag Full of Stars.
I thought the whole William Shatner series was great.

I was stupid and didn't buy the books that didn't have Kirk in it. Now I am searching for them to complete the set.

I prefer the audio books although I have rather a few paper books as well but if pushed i think Ashes of Eden written by one Wm Shatner is a pretty good story at any rate in audio form and one that bears hearing again

Aren't they the Invasion ones? I am having a brain cramp, sorry. The books about Kirk and Gary Mitchell were pretty good, too. Gave alot of backstory on Kirk.

It was cool how they linked TOS to VOY in the Invasion series.

There are some mention of each series in each book. Like a ship from TOS shows up in the Delta Quadrant, etc...

If you like Kirk, and want to learn about his background, Best Destiny is very good. Talks about his youth, when he was about 16. And there is another set of books, a series called My Brothers Keeper, about him and his friendship with Gary Mitchell. (His best friend that he had to kill in Where No Man Has Gone Before)
