So should there have been a sequel to this episode the Inner Light, where Pacard traveled in a dream or was it, back 1000 years earlier in time to a planet that no longer existed. If so, what would you have liked to happen in the sequel? If not why? Something maybe where the existence is recorded during the new episode Enterprise

Actually not, the Episode was in TNG, but a sequel could be in the new series Enterprise, due to how long ago the planet lived.
ps: by the way that's me in the photo

Wow, a response, it has been almost a year and someone responds without negitave feedback, the last dumper thought she was the pooh. lol
Anyway, the Inner Light was the all time best. The topic started out about addons to the show and where they could be placed. I had stated it could be added to the new series sense the situation took place a 1000 years earlier, so why not impliment a episode into the Enterprise series.

because enterprise is only about 200-300 years old from the time of the Enterprise-d, not 1000

NO WAY! THE INNER LIGHT SUCKED! IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE AT ALL!!!
How was it that a civillization, that had problems bringing in water, was able to construct a probe, send it out to find a person that will be born (a little less than) a thousand years later, transmit the entire memories of one individual into him, so that he experiences them for 25 minutes! And yet, at the beginning, Picard kept searching for the Enterprise, I'm sure that wasn't in the guy's memory. As I said. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!

That is an assumption, maybe it was Picard, Star Trek teaches us that all things are possible. That was the idea of this episode, to open our minds, think and look for possibilities. You are only thinking in two dimension. True it did not cover alternate universes, but that is still part of the show. Rebirth, hey how about when Data looses his head.? Maybe this is another one where they are trying to say that time is a circle in some situations. If you have such a closed mind why do you watch Star Trek?
