at 18.00 cet Pim Fortuyn was shot 3 times in head, chest and neck. He's practically dead. The guywho shot him fleed. Police looks him.

Emergency people have tried to reanimate mr.Fortuyn but it was useless. If you have 3 bullets in your body and especially one in the heart, then you will die. The man who did it was arrested. After the attack hundreds of people visited his house in Rotterdam and brought flowers with them. In the Hague and Amsterdam people were demonstrating in the streets. In Amsterdam on 'de Dam' people burned candles. Hundreds of people also went to 'het Katshuis' where prime minister Kok lives, to demonstrate.
I was against his ideas but I don't think he deserved this.

Latest news: The elections on may the 15th will go on even without Mr. Fortuyn, his party will continue "for him". The police is still questioning the 33 year old suspect who demands a lawyer. The name of the suspect has been made public. The problem with the elections is however that people will vote on their emotions, it's not unthinkable that "de lijst Pim Fortuyn" becomes the biggest party.

I have an odd thing to say:
Pim Fortuyn was murdered at May the 6th
There were 6 bullets shot at him
The suspect was arrested by 6 agents
Mr Fortuyn was 54 years old, he said he would become 87
The suspect is 33 years old (87-54=33)
If you use the 3's together you get 3+3=6

It is easy to look at a country in the middle east or africa and see people killing political leaders, however NL is a first world country, which shows not all countries can be completely stable. I wish the best for NL, hope they are able to regain their country.

The funeral of Mr Fortuyn is this afternoon in the "Laurentiuscathedral"in Rotterdam. After that the people will go to the cemetery in "Driehuizen" where he will be temporarily burried. In six weeks he will be flown to Italy where he will be burried.
