I think that "Fallen Heroes" is the best DS9 book that I have ever read. It was great.

Avatar picks up where the series left off. It tells the story of the "new" crew of DS9. That is to say, Kira, Bashir, Dax, and Nog and the replacements for those who left. Ro Laren returns to Trek as Chief of Security, Commander Elias Vaughn as the new First Officer, and many others. A great new beginning to the DS9 saga!

I was unimpressed by the Darkpassions books. I haven't read the Captain's Table with Sisko yet. Let me know whst you think.

I have read The Captain's Table with Sisko. It didn't strike me as great, but it wasn't bad. I think the best Captains Table books were the one with Janeway, and the one with Calhoun. Thats "Fire Ship" and "Once Burned."

If U have Netscape, you cannot post messages, I was trying to see if I could get it to work, but my efforts were futile.

I loved Avatar 1 & 2 AND at a recent convention met S.D. Perry (the author) and am getting my books signed by her (through a series of transactions).

You must be using Netcape 4.7. You're right, it doesn't work. Go to http://www.netscape.com and download version 6.2, its a lot better.

I am re-reading Fallen Heroes now. For anyone who has yet to read it, it is a fantastic book. You don't even have to like DS9 to enjoy the book.

That was actually the first DS9 book I read. I hadn't even watched the series except now and then at the time. I don't remember exactly, but I think that book may have hooked me on DS9

I have to say that I also liked the Millenium series (three books). Very well thought out and well written.
